The Front Store Sales Clerk/Cashier is an integral part of the Front Store team, ensuring that the department’s high standards of operations are maintained on a daily basis.

The Front Store sales clerk/cashier is responsible to ensure all clients receive timely, friendly, and accurate services and products required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, accurate and friendly service to all internal & external pharmacy clients
• Is able to work independently and as a team member
• Is reliable, trustworthy in completing assigned tasks
• Completes scheduled shifts in accordance with operating hours, on call requirements as scheduled, and overtime hours as required
• Establish, promote, and maintain a good working environment with co-workers, support services and the public
• Respond to client inquiries and complaints in a prompt, courteous and effective manner
• Must be identifiable to the client, therefore; proper pharmacy uniform, and a name tag is required
• Becomes knowledgeable in all service and product areas providing up to date accurate information
• Collaborate with other department staff members to assure the client receives the possible service available
• Responsible for completing any other tasks assigned to them by their manager/supervisor
• Responsible for ordering, merchandising and promoting new products in assigned sections
• Responsible to merchandise products in regular and promotional sections
• Responsible for promoting new items, both in sections and end aisles, with signage
• Ensure shelves are stocked, with correct price tags, and that stock is rotated regularly
• Responsible for the removal of expired products from the shelves
• Ensure merchandise is priced/labeled in accordance to flyers and store specials
• Responsible to sign out, balance, and check out cash at the end of each scheduled cash shift

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15-30 per week

Salary: From $15.50 per hour
