Title: Freelance Board Operator

Bell Media Salmon Arm is looking for a Freelance Board Operator! We need an energetic and passionate Operator to join our team supporting live shows in studio and out in our community at remote broadcasts and events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate remote broadcasts, live shows and events.
• Operate the board in a professional way.
• Support on air requirements of the host as required.
• Other duties as assigned by Program Director.

Critical Qualifications:

• Energetic, positive, hard-working and self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer skills and understanding of digital audio recording.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage several tasks simultaneously
• A full and unrestricted Class 5 drivers’ licence with a clean drivers’ abstract is required

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
