Foodservice General Help & Porter Job at Sodexo, St. Georges School
Looking for an individual with a class 5 license and clean driving record to work as a driver/receiver/porter in a food service/catering department.
Qualifications:
Must have (or willing to get before you start) Food Safe Level 1 Certificate
Must be willing to get Criminal Record Check
Experience in the food industry is preferred but not required
Job Duties:
Help put away and organize food stock and catering storage rooms, general cleaning (sweeping, mopping, garbage, recycling), delivering food supplies and equipment between two locations that are approximately 4 blocks apart, Driving staff between the two locations, Helping with food Service prep, serving and cleaning, lifting equipment and groceries, communicate with the different heads of departments of the operation. This is a very active position that involves physical abilities as well as good independent decision-making.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm. Schedule may change due to operational needs such as evenings and weekend caterings
