Established in 1931, Cutten Fields has grown over the years and now offers a year round venue for casual and fine dining, banquets, weddings, social events and various other functions, as well as Golf & Tennis.

We are looking for a Food and Beverage Manager to join our Food & Beverage Team. Reporting to the General Manager, the Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for supervising and overseeing all activities, organization execution, staffing, planning, inventory & purchasing maintaining budget of the Food and Beverage Department, while maintaining member & guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities of the Food & Beverage Manager consist of curating the F&B experience, Human Resources functions, Member interaction, fiscal accountability, and most importantly, leadership. Our F&B Manager is responsible for both front and back of house operations.

Duties consist of, but are not limited to:

• Controlling beverage inventory (counting, tracking & documenting) and purchasing
• Creating weekly forecast for F&B revenues and expenses
• Prepare F&B budget
• Hiring, scheduling, training & developing and disciplining all F&B staff as needed
• Conduct regular meetings and provide constant objectives and constructive feedback to the team
• Responds quickly to all members and guests, ensuring constant satisfaction
• Directly oversees banquets and events
• Improve and maintain a high level of member service
• Maintaining records of events and take corrective action to minimize costs where applicable
• Manage and organize member and guest feedback, taking action when necessary
• Prepare and design the Food & Beverage menus
• Work alongside other departments to guarantee great member & guest experience
• Maintain a strong working relationship with our Event Coordinator and Membership and Marketing Coordinator

The person we are looking for:

• Smart Serve Certified
• Passionate about Food & Beverage, and a strong desire to continue learning and growing
• Postsecondary education in Hospitality or Food & Beverage is considered an asset
• 3-5 years of experience as Food & Beverage Manager
• Strong understanding of legislations & regulations, budgeting and financial monitoring
• Open availability - during the Golf Season, your leadership is essential
• Shifts are variable, and will include holidays and weekends throughout our season
• Strong communication, both written and oral
