Financial Accountant Job at Royal LePage Team Realty
High performing real estate brokerage is seeking a Financial Accountant to join our highly dedicated, friendly and customer service oriented team. Reporting to the CFO the main responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day accounting functions and coordinate all month-end and year-end cycle
- Taking ownership of specific sections of the monthly reporting file as assigned
- Preparing multi-department budgets
- Improving and help standardizing processes and procedures
- Managing payroll for approximately 45 employees, including source deductions and T4 filings
- Mentoring and motivating a small team
- Assisting with all bookkeeping aspects to ensure service standards are met
- Communicating with colleagues with enquiries
- Preparing and authorizing electronic payment files
- Preparing bank deposits and cheque runs
- Providing detailed reports
- Performing other duties as requested
Experience / Skills:
- 5 years of accounting experience
- Post-Secondary Education, college or university preferred
- Ability to work independently
- Detail Oriented
- Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Time management skills
- Customer service skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
