Farm Worker Job at Fox Family Farm Ltd.
We, Myles and Trena Fox, own and manage Fox Family Farm Ltd. We produce cereal, oilseed, and pulse crops on approximately 9,000 acres utilizing a line of modern, well maintained farm equipment. Our main farm is located just 5 kms South of Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan - a vibrant community with schools, a grocery store, a hospital, and many other shops and amenities.
We are passionate about agriculture and are looking to add multiple employees who are self motivated, honest, reliable and possess good communication skills.
Other attributes that we are looking for in team members include:
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- The ability to work with others in a team environment, and the ability to work independently and complete a task with high attention to detail.
- Knowledge and experience working with the latest agricultural technology and equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude to ensure that equipment is maintained and operated efficiently.
- Class 1 licence and clean drivers abstract.
Throughout the course of the growing season, you will be expected to work overtime and weekends - We offer competitive wages and compensation for overtime hours. On-site training and the opportunity to take additional training during the off-season months is also provided.
