Experienced Brake Press Operator Job at Bay-Lynx Manufacturing Inc.
· Shape multiple types of metals by programming jobs and loading, moving, adjusting material to achieve specific measurements.
· Lift, load and adjust raw materials using overhead cranes etc.
· Maintain Brake Press machine by cleaning, oiling, greasing various parts as needed.
· Reading detailed blueprints and/or drawings.
· Conduct inspections of raw and finished materials for quality control.
· Ensure safe work practices are adhered to and appropriate PPE (provided by Bay-Lynx Mfg.) is worn.
· Ensure scheduled milestones are met within a large production team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum 2-5 years Brake Press experience.
· Forklift and Overhead Crane experience an asset.
· Ability to follow instructions and work well with others.
· Physically fit to lift and move large pieces of metal; work physically and stand for hours.
· Analytical thinking and math skills are used to interpret drawings; calculate precise measurements and for quality control.
· Communication, time management and computer skills are also an asset.
· Must have own independent and reliable transportation as our facility is not on a bus route.
· Willingness to work overtime as required
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
