We are seeking a Journeyperson or Apprentice Electrician local to Fort St. John with maintenance and construction experience.
This position is located in the Fort St. John area at various client sites starting at the end of September with potential to become permanent. Must be a local, as there is no LOA provided.
What would you be doing?
- Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications to decide wiring layouts.
- Cut, thread, bend, assemble and install conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fixtures.
- Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors.
- Position, support and install equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breaker, fiber optic cables, panels, and fuse enclosures.
- Install, replace, support and repair electrical systems and related electrical equipment.
- Testing circuits to ensure integrity and safety.

- Have a Journeyperson or an Apprentice Electrician card.
- Valid and up to date safety tickets: CSO, TDG, Aerial Work Platform, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection
- Have a high regard for personal safety, safety of company assets and employees.
- Self-motivated, capable of performing tasks with minimal supervision.
- Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle strict deadline.
