Swiftpost is looking for Drivers to join our Delivery Operations Team. This position is a permanent full-time role with a competitive salary, paid time off, full benefits and growth opportunities within the company.

Job Summary

The Delivery Associate will focus on delivering products for our retail, medical and alcohol customers across different distribution channels (retail and home delivery). Our Delivery staff are assigned company cube vans to complete their route across the GTA and surrounding regions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with morning load-in
• Load and unload product from the van based on the assigned distribution channel and route
• Complete all required stops as indicated on the routing schedule
• Update completion of delivery on assigned route
• May need to take inventory, depending on the route
• Post pictures, collect signatures, etc. as proof of delivery
• May be required to interact with customers, depending on the route
• Escalate any issues with orders or delivery to Dispatch in real-time
• Inspect vehicle daily, refuel, and report any maintenance as needed

Requirements

• Possess a G Class Driver's License and clean driving record
• Proficiency using handhelds and navigation software
• Excellent English verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift up to a maximum of 50 pounds
• Practical decision-making skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and respond to changes on route

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 per year
