We are looking for a local commercial Delivery Driver to join our team - a customer centric person who understands the importance of deliverying customer orders on time and with smile – a team player who believes in the importance of working together to meet customer expectations.

The Company

E&J Supplies is a Canadian-owned wholesale distributor of gloves, protective clothing, and janitorial, packaging shipping and first aid supplies. We provide our customers with an "easy order experience" by focusing our efforts on customers experience to ensure they find what they want quickly, easily and feel as satisfied as possible.

Position Overview

You will be responsible for driving our company’s Isuzu NRR truck, delivering customer orders throughout the GTA in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities

• load and unload product carefully and safely by using support tools safely and accurately (dollies, lifts, etc.)
• drive a company vehicle safely while adhering to all traffic laws
• conduct pre-trip inspection of company vehicle, notifying management of any concerns
• ensure all customer paperwork is complete, accurate and delivered to the customer in a courteous and timely manner
• work in a safe manner and bring forward any safety concerns, hazards to management.
• abide by all company policies and procedures, including health and safety requirements and our company vehicle policy, Ontario Motor Vehicle Safety Act, and traffic laws

Qualifications

• a minimum of two years of commercial delivery driving experience
• strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and work well under pressure to make deliveries on time and in a safe manner.
• knowledge and respect for health & safety legislations, Ontario Motor Vehicle Safety Act, and traffic laws.
• valid G class driver’s license with a clean driver abstract.
• detailed oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• experience working in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines
• a team player with solids communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Work Location: On the road
