WHO YOU ARE
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as the guest’s first point of contact with the restaurant.
Handle restaurant guest-flow through assign tables during peak hours of service, managing reservation and wait list.
Have a firm knowledge of the menu and known food allergens to guide guest through dishes.
Preparation of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages/cocktails, pour beer and wine
Scooping house-made ice cream for individual guest orders.
Organizing delivery orders for pickup.
Ringing in orders through POS system.
Maintain cleanliness of dining room and workspace to food, health and safety regulations.
Answering phone calls, taking reservations
General sidework and setting up service for the night team
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Front of house experience is considered an asset.
Personal alignment with Virtuous Pie’s vision, values, and team culture considered a serious asset.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent time management skills.
Passion for delivering outstanding guest experience and superior levels of hospitality.
Desire to learn and grow within the organization.
Ability to work in fast-paced and inter-functional team environments.
High standard for professionalism and attention to detail.
Must be able to stand/work on your feet for 8-hour shifts.
Must be able to use ladders and step stools safely.
Eager to create positive and long-lasting relationships with guests
BENEFITS
Compensation $16 per hour + equally split tip pool (averages $6-$8 per hour)- Free staff meals + on and off shift discounts on food and drinks
