Responsibilities and Duties
- Meet project goals and project milestones
- Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans, adjusting as necessary due to supply delivery, personnel etc.
- Provide and ensure a high quality of workmanship is achieved, to meet customer expectations
- Be able to communicate with supervisors and co-workers
- Mentor other workers
Qualifications and Skills
- 4+ Years' experience in commercial wood/steel framing; installing doors/windows; siding and roofing
- Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints and convey this information to others
- Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in carpentry and general framing is an asset
- Possession of basic hand tools and skilled at using those tools
- Reliable transportation to shop and/or job sites
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary to deliver projects on time
- WHIMIS and Working at Heights certified
- Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations is an asset
Salary rate will be based on experience and skills.
