Maintenance Mechanic (Day shift) Palcam Technologies newmarket, ON

Palcam Technologies is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic, who will be responsible Maintaining,troubleshooting and repairing CNC production equipment including lathes and 5 axis milling centers from DMG, Star, Whacheon and Citizen .

As one of our Maintenance Mechanics, you can expect to:

• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
• Provide scheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Prepare and start up machinery and equipment for scheduled production runs.
• Ensure operation of CNC machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatics, conveyor systems and production machines; following diagrams, operation manuals, manufactures instructions and engineering specifications and troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair or production machines.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

Successful candidates will also posses:

• Minimum educational requirement of high School diploma OR GED with relevant work experience and trade certificates.
• Self-motivation and ability to work in an environment without direct supervision for extended periods of time.
• Ability to act in accordance with Standard Procedures supporting company-wide Operational, Service and Safety guidelines
• A positive attitude and demonstration of core values including Integrity, Trust, Respect & Responsibility.
