We are a busy trucking company and recycling centre located at our Oldfield rd, Saanichton. We are looking currently looking for drivers with a Class 1 license. You'll need to be tech friendly as we use dispatching software that runs on cell phones and requires the input of information. We service Greater Victoria, the Cowichan Valley and the Gulf Islands.
Hours Required
We are looking for full time drivers who are interested in working four 10 hour days. Availability on Saturdays is required due to the different routes but we can be very flexible with the days off in the middle of the week.
The Position
Driver - Hauling end dump trailers, Walking Floors from our Brentwood Bay location to Nanaimo and/or Fisher Road location.
Required Experience
- Experience with end Dumps is a definite asset and equals a higher starting wage.
- Adhere to proper safety procedures and WCB regulations.
- Safe driving record is a must.
- Experience with pulling trailers also equals a higher starting rate.
- Ability to learn new skills
