You will be responsible for:

• Preparing, cooking and executing menu items and specials
• Planning and directing food preparation and cooking activities within the department
• Implementing, executing and maintaining new and seasonal menu updates and changes
• Inventory control with a focus on quality
• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members
• Sharing product knowledge with customers
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe, and sanitary work environment
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives

You have:

• Experience making a varity of Asian hot foods and cold foods including sushi, dim sum, BBQ and stir fry
• Good working knowledge of W.H.I.M.I.S. and Food Safe Certificate
• Passion for great food and outstanding service
• Strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude
• Enthusiasm and are customer focused
• Retail, customer service experience considered an asset
