Casual position for support of last minute pick up shifts in senior living facility, experience with PCC strong asset, must live in Medicine Hat area. MUST HAVE:

• Valid police clearance
• Live in Medicine Hat area
• NOT Actively employed with AgeCare
• Be willing to accept last minute shifts.
• Own reliable transportation
• FLUENT English, spoken, written, read.
• Independent thinker
• Reliable and punctual
• Experience working with empathy towards clients in the senior demographic
• Legally available to work in Canada
• When necessary proof of negative TB Results and Updated Immunization Record
• Flexible enough to accommodate clients preferred hours
• Comfortable supporting domestic duties to maintain the home

EXPECTATIONS

• Perform custom tailored procedures for which recognized training and current competency can be demonstrated.
• Ability to perform domestic duties with detail and pride
• Observe and document client conditions and changes following proper standards and in accordance with professional standards.
• Understand and implement prevention practices
• Provide Aids to Daily Living and safe transfer methods, mobility assistance
• Maintain respect and dignity of clientele
• Maintain Professionalism
• Ability to show initiative and work well both independently and work well within a team
