Alberta Health Services is currently hiring for a Testing Analyst II to join their growing clinical services and projects team. Reporting to the Director of Testing, Clinical Services the successful Analyst will use a structured approach to developing proactive, reusable test designs that minimize risk, unplanned application downtime and prioritizes patient safety. The successful candidate will leverage their proven experience with industry best practices and standardized methodologies to ensure the reliability of health record systems. The Testing Analyst dynamically contributes QA expertise throughout the software development life cycle including integration, standardization as well as stakeholder consultations and analysis. The Testing Analyst will therefore bring professional communication, problem solving and organizational skills to deliver and document solutions in a fast-paced environment. You will also bring the ability to collaborate and lead projects that mitigate risk, span a variety of complexities and may involve some expenditure monitoring and cost controls. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of quality assurance testing and clinical workflow experience that will allow them to consult with healthcare stakeholders, gather business requirements and implement progressive testing solutions. Description:

As a Business Analyst, you will work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies and operations of an organization, and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. You will interpret client needs, assess requirements and identify solutions to non-standard issues and requests, provide advice and direction to clients, and contribute to solutions by providing input into strategy, workflows and delivery for assigned projects and programs.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of a post-secondary degree in a related field, or equivalent level of education and experience.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Equivalencies will include: A diploma or technical certification in technology or a clinical background or a minimum 2 years testing experience in a fast-paced QA environment. Epic Proficiency certification required upon hire.
