Vintage Hotels is currently seeking an experienced Baker to join our growing team!
What you'll be doing:
- Responsible for supervision of and baking of breads for multiple properties.
- Supervises and directs baking Team Members by scheduling workload, assisting team Members when required to meet the baking requirements.
- Acts as a team leader with baking Team Members.
- Ensures the rotation of baking ingredients and performs inventory control function.
- Checks the kitchen function sheets daily to ensure that the food items are available and that special item menu are attainable.
- Assist Executive Chef with costing.
What you'll bring to the team:
- Certificate in Baking through recognized Culinary Institute preferred.
- 2-3 years years progressive experience in a related role.
- Reliable Transportation to Niagara on the Lake.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to delegate tasks effectively.
