AZ Truck Driver - Company Driver Job at Contrans Tank Group
We are hiring AZ company drivers for our Food Grade division. This is Canada only work.
Food grade is a unique product that requires specialized equipment to haul. Our temperature-controlled trailers are specifically equipped with an in-transit heating system. This system allows us to keep the product in liquid form and prevent it from hardening. Pump and hose tube compartments are insulated and can be heated to ensure smooth operation even in cold climates. Our temperature-controlled trailers unload in the centre to maximize the slope for drainage.
The requirements:
- Willing to drive open board (not dedicated)
- Willingness to be away from home and sleep in the truck up to 3-nights in the week
- Climbing ladders, stairs, and pull/push 20-foot hoses out of tanks
- Be able to understand and operate multi-axle trailers to ensure weight compliance
- Have a clear understanding of current Hours of Service Regulations
