The Opportunity

As Questica continues to grow we are expanding our support team, seeking team members with exceptional customer facing application support skills.

Joining our team as Application Support Specialist, you will be the customer’s first contact point with Questica, via email, ticket portal, and telephone. As part of our support team, you will work with our customers to provide and unparalleled support experience for our customers, helping them to technical solutions for their business challenges. Where solutions require input from other members of the Questica team, you are responsible for acquiring the resources and driving the ticket through to completion.

As an organization, our analytics rely on good, clean, data and the support specialist is responsible for ensuring all work is correctly tagged/encoded before it is marked complete. You will be very detail oriented to achieve this. Ticket volumes can occasionally be high, so it is also essential that you are highly motivated and well organized.

The Right Fit

Who You Are: Essential Knowledge:
  • Experience supporting business to business software applications;
  • Extremely personable;
  • Patient and willing to go the extra mile to understand customer needs;
  • Logical problem-solving skills;
  • Solid understanding of relational databases;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Excellent written and verbal customer communication skills;
  • Desire for continuous learning.
Experience: Nice-to-Have
  • Post-secondary diploma/degree or equivalent work experience;
  • Financial experience;
  • SQL Server (ability to read and understand stored procedures, views and functions);
  • Report development e.g. SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services,) Crystal Reports, data cubes.
Location & Travel

This role will be remote. Preference will be given to candidates in Western Canada.
