Job Summary
Northern Aviation Services provides Aircraft Refueling at the Greater Sudbury Airport, we are a Shell Fuel Supplier.
Job Responsibilities
- Dispense petroleum fuels products (Jet and Avgas Fuels)
- Operate motorized fueling vehicles ( fuel tank trucks, automatic transmissions)
- Fuel aircraft per flight crew/flight plan requirements
- Inspect fueling equipment and vehicles- report malfunctions or inconsistencies
- Provide on call services
- Perform accurate fueling calculations
- Fuel ground support equipment (gasoline or diesel) as required
- Interact with air carrier personnel
- Utilize hand-held radios, telephones and computers for communication
- Complete and submit all documentation associated with fueling activities
- Comply with all federal, municipal, airport authority requirements.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Valid DZ license
- Must be able to pass Transportation Security Clearence (which will be provided by employer)
- Must be able to obtain Radio Operators Permit and Airside Vehicle Operator Permit (which will be provided by employer)
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive, multiple shifts and team-oriented environment
- Must be dependable and able to take direction from supervisors to service the customer safely and on time.
- General math aptitude
- Good knowledge of the English language both verbal and written
- Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Salary: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekend availability
