We are looking for a full-time accountant/administrator to join our busy team. You thrive on variety, are well organized and can juggle five things at once. You would be joining a small, busy office with six staff.
Yacht Sales West is currently seeking an Accountant/Administrator with a thorough understanding of accounting and bookkeeping best practices. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and can work independently, but also enjoys collaborating with a variety of coworkers. The ideal candidate will enjoy a challenge and will have a commitment to excellence. A successful candidate will have prior experience as an Accountant and will be fully conversant in the latest accounting software packages.

Accounting Responsibilities:
- Experienced with full cycle accounting using multi-currency
- A/P, A/R
- GST, PST, WCB reconciling/reporting/filing
- Prepare international wires
- Cash flow reporting
- Account collections
- Manage the company's bank accounts
- Bank reconcilliations
- Manage payroll (Ceridian)
- Manage moorage accounts and billings
- Manage cash flow
- Prepare custom reports
- M/E and Y/E reports, statements and adjustments
Administration Responsibilities:
- Manage the supply chain for ordering, transportation and importation of new vessels from European manufacturers
- Creating, maintaining and updating costing and retail pricelists. This is a regular
duty. You must have intermediate to pro comfort with Excel
- Manage brokerage sale transactions
- Prepare monthly dealership insurance reports
- Manage company benefits plan
- Mail, courier and shipping
- Answer phones
- Order office supplies
- Maintain office filing systems
Computer and Software experience
- Sage 50 – intermediate/pro
- Excel 2019 – intermediate/pro
- Word 2019 - intermediate
- Windows 11
- Type 60+ WPM

Salary: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
