Key Duties and Responsibilities
Operate the haul trucks in a safe and appropriate manner;
Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, and clean, lubricate and refill the equipment as necessary;
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation;
Perform inspections of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights, turn signals and brakes;
Ensure cargo is properly loaded according to safety requirements;
Follow all safety policies, procedures and legislation;
Participate in training and continuous improvement activities;
Report any situation that may affect equipment availability to the supervisor;
Respect at all times the environment and health and safety policies;
Communicate any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to the supervisor;
Perform any other tasks related to operations as assigned.
Ensure safety for all team members and property
Provide quality services to our clients
Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervisor
Leave the job site in better condition that when we got there. Clean, safe and job done
Complete required paperwork for jobs
Tickets
Class 1 licence with clean drivers abstract
First Aid, H2S Alive, WHMIS , TDG, Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Skills
Strong mechanical aptitude
Some computer skills an asset
Physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis)

Salary: $30.00-$32.00 per hour
