Aerostream is looking for a committed, hardworking, and responsible individual to join our team as a full-time 5 Ton Truck Driver.

The 5 Ton Truck Driver is responsible for driving our 5 Ton vehicle for the purpose of delivering and picking up shipments from our customers. The driver will be required to ensure paperwork is signed and freight is accounted for.

Job Summary:

· Driving delivery routes throughout Vancouver Island

· Complete assigned pickups/deliveries and other duties as assigned

· Assist in loading and unloading freight on assigned vehicle

· Pre-trip and post trip vehicle checks

· Report any discrepancies as they arise

· Follow quality service standards and comply with company procedures, rules, and regulations

· Keep a clean and safe working environment

· Monthly cellular reimbursement provided

Shift Times:

9:00 am-5:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Based on the volume of work, shifts may be on weekends and start/end times of shifts may vary. Possibility for overtime hours and pay as required.

Required Qualifications:

· Clean driver’s abstract

· Class 5 driver’s license

· Cellular (Android) phone

· Ability to pass Criminal Record Check

· Fluent in written and spoken English

· Good organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills

· Steel-toed boots

· Fun, positive, and professional attitude

· Punctual

Compensation:

Starting at $24/hour

Eligible for company benefits after probationary period.

Depending on experience, the starting hourly rate is negotiable.
