Accounting Assistant

Felicitas Global Partners (FGP) is an asset management firm based in Pasadena, CA that specializes in private markets investing. Our team has experience in managing large sums of capital for well-known institutions and use that experience to identify and research opportunities. We take each opportunity through a rigorous due diligence process and after execution, apply a similar level of rigor in monitoring the performance of those investments. We focus our investment activities primarily in two areas of the private markets - private equity secondaries and private debt strategies – and manage a variety of private funds targeting these areas of investments. FGP manages approximately $700 million of assets under management primarily within pooled investment funds.

Responsibilities:

- Regularly input financial data into FGP’s software accounting system

- Reconcile FGP’s accounting transactions with its third-party fund administrator and close the books each quarter for FGP’s various pooled investment funds

- Generate quarterly investor reporting packages for FGP’s investment funds

- Handle invoices related to ongoing business operations related to FGP’s investment funds

- Maintain internal capital planning spreadsheet, cash flow projection spreadsheet and other internal monitoring spreadsheets

- Ensure capital calls and distributions are processed within established time limits

- Assist with data entry and data project-related assignments such as updating monitoring dashboards and populating financial statements data into models

- Work with service providers to complete annual financial audits for FGP’s investment funds

- Support investor onboarding, migrating processes and related document management

- Assist with other administrative tasks and projects as needed

Education:

- 2-year community college diploma in Accounting, OR

- Bachelor’s degree in business with accounting courses (preferred)

Experience:

- At least 1-2 years of work experience in fund administration or in a computer intensive environment preferred

- Previous administrative/clerical experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Demonstrated analytical ability with a working knowledge of accounting principles

- Extremely detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines

- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative and follow through on work assignments

- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word

Compensation: C$65,000 – 72,000/annum (commensurate with experience), plus an annual discretionary bonus, and access to benefits

Location: Open to a remote working arrangement. Central or East Coast time zone preferred.
