Job Title: Yard / Parts Manager

Department: Service

Reports to: Service Manager

  • Ship and receive parts orders from vendors.
  • Inspect parts orders for damages.
  • Label parts with correct part number.
  • Stock incoming orders in theri correct bin locations.
  • Prepare customer orders for shipping.
  • Ship customer orders and receive customer returns.
  • Identify, sell, and deliver parts to customers.
  • Create bill of ladings and packing lists on parts orders.
  • Process outgoing orders using UPS or FedEx.
  • Create outbound and inbound custom forms.
  • Load and unload orders using forklift.
  • Pickup orders from local vendors.
  • Assist service department locating parts.
  • Maintain accurate inventory.
  • Daily and annual inventory counts.
  • Maintain accurate purchase orders and receivers.
  • Manage and coordinate all activity in the yard.
  • Maximize yard efficiency
  • Log all shipping & receiving of equipment & attachments in computer system.
  • Determines safe lift parameters and follows established procedures to safely lift, load, and unload various types of heavy equipment.
  • Rigs equipment, machinery, and material using slings, chain falls, and other rigging gear as required and in accordance with all safety protocols.
  • Safely operate a forklift when shipping or receiving equipment and or parts.
  • Conduct inspections on all incoming equipment and attachments.
  • Scan and record all incoming and outgoing equipment and attachments.
  • Participate in the preparation of equipment for rental or sale.
