Responsibilities:

• Professional installation and finishing work on residential and commercial windows and doors
• Strong organizational skills for job preparation
• Maintain clean organized work sites
• Attention to detail to maintain high customer satisfaction
• Troubleshoot any issues that may arise on jobsite while maintaining high quality of workmanship
• Maintain safe work environment by adhering to all local health and safety laws and regulations
• Load and unload all required job materials at the beginning and end of project
• Preventative maintenance on tools and equipment
• Travel regularly within 2-3 hours distance with some overnight stays

(Overnight stays are considered based on the distance travelled and length of time to complete the job)

Skills:

• Strong communication skills to maintain high level of customer service
• Understanding of basic blueprints and job layout
• Proficient and good understanding of safe work practices while operating hand tools
• Understand how to use and operate measuring tools
• Willing to accept and build from constructive criticism

Qualifications:

• Finishing Carpentry / Construction experience is not required but would be beneficial for the position
• Heavy lifting regularly (75-150lbs)
• Class 5 driver’s licence
• Clean driver’s abstract
• High school diploma

Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Experience:

• Building Materials Installation Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
• Construction: 1 year (preferred)

• 25% (preferred)
