Aerotek is currently hiring a Field/Shop Welder for our client located in Aldergrove BC

This position is doing repair welding in the shop 1-2 weeks out of the month and all across Canada and America in the field doing repairs 1-2 weeks out of the month. Company paid for all travel expenses and lodging.

Job Description

• Flux core Welding of brackets and pipe
• Fitting and fabrication
• Some mechanics and installation at time (wont be welding/fabricating 100% of the day)
• Following work orders
• Reading and Understanding Blue Prints and Engineering Drawings

Shifts

• Morning and afternoon shifts

Wage

• up to $38/hr
• Wage depending on Weld Test and Experience

Points

• Pay by performance: you work hard you will get raises
• Raises aren’t always 1-2 dollars you can jump 5 dollars in one raise
• Good management team
• Not just another number in the shop, its a family type of environment and hard work doesn't go unnoticed
• Potential to make 6 figures, training, apprenticeships, raises, opportunities for growth are all encouraged at this job
