Berry Global / Fabrene Inc is an ISO certified organization, and a leader in the manufacturing of woven polyolefin materials for a wide variety of building, protective and packaging products. The North Bay, Ontario plant operates 24/7 and involves a variety of extrusion, plastic and textile processing equipment.

As the Weaving Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Weaving Shed Service Operators engaged in setting up, installing, repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment. You will also plan, direct and coordinate technical and project activities by performing the following (but not limited to) duties:

· Establish work standards, controls and audit workforce;

· Plan, direct, motivate and supervise unionized skilled trades in maintenance activities in a safe and timely manner,

· Provide leadership and problem-solving guidance to employees,

· Manage work schedules and assignments to meet production goals;

· Manage and control spare parts and various inventories, purchases and associate costs;

· Ensure equipment reliability and efficiency

· Develop and maintain machine control standards, procedures

Requirements/ Assets: the ideal candidate will possess:

· Bachelor’s Degree in sciences; or 3-year related College Diploma; or 5 to 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

· 3 years experience with leading capital projects, from requirement to completion stages.

· Computer literacy in MS Office, SharePoint, database and graphing applications

· Competency in Qantel (ERP) Computer System

· Sulzer and Picanol weaving machine maintenance experience, considered an asset

· Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multi- task.
