Position: Dock Worker

Location: Peterborough, ON

Type of employment: Permanent Full-time - Night Shift

Hours of work

Sundays- 10:30 PM -8:00 AM

Monday -Thursday- 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM

SUMMARY: The Dockworker is responsible for accurately scanning and sorting freight, building secure skids and unloading trailers in a timely fashion

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting in preparation of freight, including labeling, cubing and scanning
• Maintain safe working procedures and Environmental
• Securely build and shrink wrap skids
• load and unload trailers
• meet cut off times

*Any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience
• Physically fit and able to lift 75 lbs. as required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both individually and as part of a group
• Experience working with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Forklift experience is required
