Job Profile: Uniformed Asset Protection Personnel (Customer Service)

Reports to: District Asset Protection Manager

Real Canadian SuperStore in Ajax, Ontario located at 30 Kingston Rd is looking for a Uniformed Asset Protection Personnel (UAPP). Are you passionate about providing an exceptional shopping experience for customers and delighting them every step of the way? Uniformed Asset Protection Personnel welcome customers as they enter the store and provide friendly service and respond to Asset Protection programs. UAPP will collaborate with the other employees of the store and may need to perform other assigned duties as required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service & support to all internal and external customers.
  • Respond to Asset Protection (AP) programs while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Assess safety hazards (i.e. spills, wet floors etc.) and take proper procedures to ensure customer safety.
  • Escalate any crisis or emergency situations in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and submit daily, weekly, and monthly status reports.
  • Act as a visible deterrent to theft and vandalism.
  • All other duties as required.

Job Qualifications:

  • Experience within a retail environment preferred.
  • Ability to foster partnerships with store teams.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a talent for building relationships.
  • Professional, friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to remain calm in high tension situations.
  • Ability to walk or stand in the same position for long periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • First Aid and CPR certified is an asset.

Rôles et responsabilités :

  • Offrir un service à la clientèle et un soutien exceptionnels à tous les clients internes et externes.
  • Tenir compte des programmes de la protection des actifs (PA) tout en offrant un service à la clientèle exceptionnel.
  • Évaluer les risques d’accident (p. ex., déversements, sols mouillés, etc.) et suivre les procédures adéquates pour assurer la sécurité des clients.
  • Signaler les situations de crise ou d’urgence en temps opportun aux échelons supérieurs.
  • Tenir à jour et soumettre des rapports d’état quotidiens, hebdomadaires et mensuels.
  • Constituer un effet dissuasif bien visible contre le vol et le vandalisme.
  • Toute autre tâche requise.

Qualifications professionnelles :

  • Expérience dans un environnement de vente au détail, un atout.
  • Capacité à établir des partenariats avec les équipes en magasin.
  • Aptitudes exceptionnelles pour le service à la clientèle et la création de liens.
  • Attitude professionnelle, amicale et accessible.
  • Capacité de rester calme dans les situations à tension élevée.
  • Capacité de marcher ou de se tenir debout dans la même position pendant de longues périodes.
  • En mesure de soulever jusqu’à 50 lb.
  • La certification en premiers soins et en RCR est un atout.
