Truck and Trailer Mechanic Job at Ok Tire
At Ok Tire Commercial, you will be an integral part of a fast-paced work environment in a wide range of industrial, commercial, and passenger/Light truck applications.
We are currently seeking applicants for the position of Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our team in Saint John, New Brunswick.
Key Responsibilities:
-Troubleshooting equipment and perform equipment repairs
-Working with supervisors, customers, and fellow mechanics on various tasks
-Providing support for onsite safety requirements
-Safe operation and upkeep of company service truck
-Various other garage-related activities
Required Competencies:
-Red Seal Truck and Trailer Mechanic License
- Valid driver's license and clean drivers abstract
-Dedicated to safety
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
-Familiarity with mechanical reliability principles and programs
-Can work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
-Ability to work with shifting priorities and multi tasking
-Customer focused and able to work with others at all levels of management and skill level
-Ability to work independently
-Ability to meet tight deadlines
-Ability to work overtime as required
