Why C Media is a multicultural marketing agency seeking a TikTok expert to join our Marketing Team. This is a ongoing, part time position located in Richmond Hill

About you

Are you comfortable creating and stitching on TikTok? Are you keeping up with the latest trends and platform updates in social media? We’d love to hear from you! Reporting to the Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in the conceptualization and creation of organic and paid content for an array of our marketing clients. The ideal candidate will have between 3-5 years experience, and work closely with our internal team to service ongoing clients and provide ongoing strategic social media guidance

• Discovering new social media trends and identifying opportunities for our clients to insert itself into timely topics/conversations.
• Manage the TikTok Marketing project by planning, implementing and executing from the ground up
• Creating TikTok and reels videos and static content using in-app tools, services like Canva and CapCut and with the aid of our in-house team
• Briefing our internal studio team on creative needs, providing clear feedback on concepts, and drafting copy for content on our organic channels
• Working directly with marketing leads to assess creative and ensure it’s relevant and optimized for social media
• Reporting on content performance, taking learnings and applying them to future creative / campaigns
• Continuously innovating by improving processes, testing new platform tools, and breaking creative boundaries
• Create video content creation strategy and campaigns to monetize that content
• Define metrics to best represent the project performance and adjust strategies dynamically
• Ability to use strategic thinking and make independent decisions to move the project forward

You have:

• A strong knowledge of social media platforms from both a creative and technical perspective: you’re aware of the latest algorithm changes, trending music on TikTok and can post content confidently
• Are highly proactive: you love bringing new ideas to team calls and agency meets
• An understanding of how to best optimize content across each platform
• A strong interest in analytics within the social and digital worlds
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills: You love building strong, collaborative working relationships with your peers and partners
• Flexibility with your time, understanding that social media needs can sometimes occur after office hours
• The proven ability to balance competing interests: You are able to prioritize effectively and devise and implement appropriate business strategies

Required Professional Designation/Certification and Experience

• Minimum 3-5-years experience in a marketing, social media or content creator role within a fast-paced environment, either agency or client-side
• Post-graduate certificate/diploma/degree in marketing, social media and or digital marketing
• Experience with the creative process, including brief development, considered an asset

Please note: this role is part-time and in-office located in Richmond Hill

Salary: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
