    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for shipping & receiving, as well as storage and retrieval of goods and materials in a safe, accurate and organized manner.

    MAGINO MINE:

    The Magino Project is a brown-fields site located in northern Ontario, Canada that contains an historical underground gold mine, landfill and tailings management facility ("TMF"). The Corporation has conducted a Feasibility Study during 2017 that examined mining the deposit using conventional open pit mining methods and extraction of gold from the ore using a 10,000 tonnes per day carbon-in-pulp ("CIP") mineral processing facility. When developed, Magino will produce around 150,000 ounces of gold during the first five years of production. The project has over a 15-year mine production life (including one year of pre-production).

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Expedite and manage the logistics of all incoming equipment.
    • Maintain and manage inventory levels and controls.
    • Enter data in inventory and logistics software.
    • Receive, verify and unload incoming materials.
    • Organize goods for safe and easy access, maintain a clean warehouse space.
    • Keep accurate records of goods and materials entering and leaving the warehouse.
    • Receive and process warehouse stock orders.
    • Complete any required receiving or shipping documentation.
    • Packaging of material or goods for storage, shipment or return.
    • Organize delivery of materials & goods requested to departments and contractors.
    • Perform various tasks related to warehousing operations including returns processing, inspection of goods and material verifications.
    • Operation of various types of equipment such as forklifts, loaders and tele-handlers.
    • QUALIFICATIONS:

    • A minimum of 2 years warehousing & logistics experience, preferably in the mining industry.
    • Experience operating forklifts, loaders and tele-handlers as well as a valid Ontario driver’s license.
    • SAP experience and barcode technology knowledge would be an asset.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication.
    • Physical requirements: lifting, carrying, bending, stretching and standing for extended periods.
    • Commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
    • ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

    • The role is located at the Magino Mine, which is approximately 88 kilometres northeast of Wawa, Ontario, Canada.
    • The ideal candidate for the role will work a rotation of 7 days on and 7 days off.
