Work hours: 8:15 AM to 4:30 PM (Monday through Friday - Mountain Time, excluding days identified as holidays)

Tri-global Solutions Group Inc. is seeking a Systems Analyst Resource to join our team at Alberta Pensions Services Corporation (APS) for an enhancement project.
The successful contractor(s) have a start date on or after January 4, 2023 for an initial contract ending June 30, 2023 with possibility of extension.
NOTES ON LOCATION: Work will be conducted remotely. However, due to data security policies remote work must be conducted from within Alberta. Client will provide any technology and access required to complete work remotely.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Application Development & Maintenance team is responsible for building and maintaining applications to facilitate the internal business at APS, as well for the external clients we serve. In addition to maintaining the applications built in-house the Applications team also supports various third-party software purchased for use within APS.
SCOPE / DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
APS IT Applications currently requires a development resource for an enhancement project.
- Complete development related tasks within .NET Core/4/5, MVC, entity framework, LINQ
- Development of highly interactive front-end pages using Angular or equivalent client-side framework
- Perform bug investigation and fixing on production/development environments
- Write unit tests and perform functional tests on created code
- Perform code reviews of other developers work
- Write, test, optimize and debug SQL Server Database queries
- Contribute to and work within the Agile framework established at APS for software development
- Develop code adhering to Secure Coding Practices
EXPECTED SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Technology Skills and Knowledge)
- Microsoft C# .NET Core/4/5
- Entity framework, LINQ
- Angular
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Developer level Unit Testing
- Data fixes using SQL
- Microsoft Visual Studio
- JavaScript or similar scripting languages
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
- Strong working competency in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
- Familiarity with Azure AD, Microsoft Identity, and Microsoft Graph
- Experience integrating solutions with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Operational troubleshooting and maintenance/upgrade support for FileNet
- Experience working within ITIL v4 or equivalent change management environments
- Experience within the industry domain of Financial Services, Pension Administration or Pension Services
DELIVERY
Project Deliverable:
- APSPlan enhancement and defect management for operational support and project development tasks.
Expectation:
- Technical analysis
- Development of new application/web components
- Participate in code-reviews and follow proper processes and best practice to ensure the quality of development efforts.
- Create/review technical documentation
- Collaborate with Operational or IT teams to properly implement changes into production
- Conduct unit testing, system testing and coordinate integration testing with other analysts
- Deliverables as assigned by the Manager, Applications Development & Maintenance
