RAPS is Seeking a Support Worker to Assist an Individual with Global Developmental Delay & Angelman Syndrome (H17)
Location: St. Albert
Hours/Days (opportunity for full-time hours in the future)
Monday 12:00pm-3:00pm
Tuesday 12:00pm-5:00pm
Wednesday 12:00pm-6:00pm
Thursday 12:00pm- 3:00pm
Friday 12:00pm-5:00pm
Job Description: Duties included but are not limited to building a meaningful relationship with client, assisting with all aspects of personal care, g-tube feeding, teaching life/social skills, supporting on outings, sourcing inclusive opportunities, mobility assistance, supervision, and companionship.
Qualifications and Other Requirements: Must have a recent criminal record check including the vulnerable sector, speak fluent English, and be a non-smoker. Must have both Covid-19 vaccinations. Previous healthcare and/or support work experience/education is preferred. Must have or be willing to obtain First Aid/CPR certification. Preference for candidates with a driver’s licence and reliable vehicle. Ideal candidate will be reliable, punctual, and physically fit.
Rate of Pay: $18.00 - $20.00/hour (based on experience & education)
