Let me guess, you are looking for work and you are seeking a company that treats you better, values you, where you have opportunities or where you can finally utilize your skill set, am I right? What if we were to tell you that we can provide all of that plus access to free product! And…even more than that, how about:

· A fun fast-paced environment

· A SMALL company where you are NOT a number, we actually know your name and you are like family! (I know…what a concept!)

· Competitive salary

· Company-paid benefits (Yes really!)

· Bonus plan potential

· Matching 5% RRSP

· Company events

· And more!

See, I knew you would keep reading! How about some more information about us so that you can get to know us better?

We are proud to say that we are a Canadian, small-town family-owned organic and natural nut butter manufacturer and we have kept this same goal and mission since 1989. If you have been working in a dingy old work environment, we are pleased to tell you that we have a brand spanking new facility in Brantford! We have curb appeal! But beyond this, we produce a wide variety of nut and seed butter with no additives, and we are one of the few original remaining in the North American market today! Look what you could be a part of! And, you could brag to all your friends and relatives – even Great Auntie Mildred!

Now, we could tell you a heck of a lot more about us, but you can certainly find that on the web. I know you are now ready to find out where and how you could fit in and be a part of our family. Let’s give you those details…

Where YOU Fit in:

First and foremost, fit is everything…we are looking for a positive can-do attitude, skills that match the role and skills that can be developed further. We are looking for someone who can share our values and who is interested in a long-lasting career with us – you know we want a new family member!

Here are the responsibilities – the “seeds” of the position (See what I did there? Yes, it was a bit of a stretch, maybe a bit “nutty”.)

You will be the go-to person for the full Procure-to-Pay inventory management cycle which will include but not be limited to:

· Executing basic purchasing tasks related to handling purchase requisitions, purchase orders, quotations, and other associated purchasing and vendor-management activities

· Creating and monitoring orders (Purchasing and Manufacturing) from placement to delivery

· Performing Accounts Payable functions: 3-way match, G/L coding and ERP Entry (because this is important too and we like to add variety in our roles!)

· Executing vendor surveys and qualify vendors

· Sourcing MRO items and raw materials

· Engaging in inventory analysis including cycle counting and root-cause analysis

· Maintaining inventory records such as receipts and issues

· Completing production scheduling, inventory control, and material-planning duties

· Using forecasting techniques to predict demand and shipments

· Analyzing problems to identify root causes

What You Bring to the Company:

Your glowing personality AND:

· Post secondary education in Supply Chain Management – diploma/degree or equivalent experience

· 2-5 years of experience in a similar role (Whose kidding – you haven’t had a role opportunity like this, - but maybe and hopefully you have had a role with similar duties)

· Exceptional time management

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Professional manner with ability to multi-task

· Ability to stay motivated and keep a positive attitude

Now, what if I were to tell you that we are still developing this role and there is a chance to help develop it further and really make this role your own? Of course, we will support you all the way.

If this role speaks to you…calls your name, and the thought of having access to free product really moves you (and you have a great skill match), then what are you waiting for? Get that application in and let us assess your potential to join in the fun here and make Great Auntie Mildred proud! BTW – Great Auntie Mildred was a real relative reference for one of us! Oh the stories we could tell….

We are waiting…

This is an in office position due to the nature of the work.

No phone calls please. Nuts to you is an equal opportunity employer and will not discriminate during the hiring process. If you need accommodations to apply for this role, let us know if we contact you for the next step.
