The National Capital Commission is actively seeking students who would like to join us this summer and work alongside our dedicated professionals. Our summer student program runs from May 2023 to end of August 2023.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
NCC’s outdoor programs provide an opportunity to Canadians to exercise (bike, in-line skate, run or walk) while discovering the cultural landscape along scenic parkways and pathways or in a natural environment either in the Greenbelt or Gatineau Park.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
  • Full-time CEGEP, college or university student;
  • Enrolled in full-time studies in the next academic year;
  • Bilingual in both official languages;
  • Possess or eligible to obtain reliability security clearance.
OTHER CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: (applicable to some positions)
  • Possess a valid driver’s licence (Ontario; Class G, Quebec: Class 5) and provide a good driver’s abstract;
  • Willing and physically able to frequently stand or walk;
  • Willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions;
  • Available to work every weekend until the end of October 2023.
