Student Unit Aide – Various Sites
Student Unit Aide positions are available in the following departments/sites:

Wiarton – Medical/Surgical
Meaford – Medical/Surgical
Southampton – Medical/Surgical, Emergency
Markdale – Medical/Surgical
Owen Sound – Critical Care, Emergency, Inpatient Mental Health, Outpatient Mental Health, Rehabilitation, Women and Child Care, Medicine, Surgery

Required Qualifications:

• Full-time student with a minimum completion of first year of an RN (BScN) program
• Working knowledge of Infection Control Practices
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Student, Administrative – Mental Health & Addictions Wellness Centre – Owen Sound
Required Qualifications:

• Preference will be given to individuals enrolled in a relevant post-secondary program such as Business/Office Administration, Social Work etc.
• Ability to handle multiple demands, frequent interruptions, and to deal effectively with clients who are intoxicated, in crisis, or in other stressful situation
• Demonstrated ability in providing administrative support in an environment with a broad variety of clerical and clinical functions with strong attention to detail and accuracy; computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, client-service focused
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality
• Availability to work all shifts

Student, Laundry Linen – Owen Sound
Required Qualifications:

• Ability to carry out correct lifting and carrying techniques of items and meet the physical demands of this position
• Ability to work in a team environment without close supervision
• Availability to work all shifts (days, evenings and weekends)
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment
• Ability to handle exposure to infection, noise, odors and work interruptions

Student, Engineering Services – Owen Sound
Required Qualifications:

• General knowledge of building trades and experience painting and working with hand and power tools to perform a variety of tasks
