Job Description
What you'll be doing
The Senior Analyst, Change Management applies comprehensive knowledge and skills to support the right standardized methods and procedures are used for the handling of changes in order to minimize its investment and identifying value add opportunities within key strategic initiatives. The role applies comprehensive skills to assist with change activity within a line of business, perform data and process analysis, and record impacts of change in relation infrastructure and environments. The role exercises independent judgement within preset guidelines in monitoring work progress, responding to changing priorities and handling situations that require further analysis and investigation. Responsible for ensuring standardized methods and procedures are followed (Enterprise Delivery Framework(EDF) and Enterprise Change Management(ECM)) including detailed implementation planning for efficient handling of changes in order to minimize the impact of all low to medium & high complexity changes. As Change Specialist you will also coordinate the building, testing, resourcing and implementation of a change, in testing and production environments. You will also ensure proper signoffs and follow ups are completed with all partners (Business, Technology Operations (TO) and Technology Solutions (TS)

  • Communication – Ability to communicate in written or verbal and hold conference calls to successfully plan, implement and follow up on changes.
  • Governance – Ability to provide goverance to artifacts you collect as part of audit requirments.
  • Multi tasking - Ability to handle multiple conflicting task and priotizing such that the most immediate items are addressed. This includes knowing when to escalate and engage senior management to ensure they are informed and able to communicate priority and decisions to varous interested parties.
Who you are
  • You can demontrate 3-5 years experience in change governance with the knowledge and understanding what to look for in determining what are the risks to the environment. It’s an asset if you have experience with Agile methodologies. You have the understanding of technical components of business unit's infrastructure sufficiently to analyze and interpret all information to ensure prerequisite details for changes are complete and accurate, including accurately detailed and tested contingency and back out strategies. Nice to have some technical/development expereince. Fimiliarty with Oracle database knowledge.
  • Your familiar with interpreting changes and trends in the technology industry to determine their impact on CIBC and find ways to make continuous improvements to existing.
