Position Title: Summer Student – Special Events Coordinator

Status: 12-week contract
Work Location: Trillium Health Partners Foundation office at 89 The Queensway West, Mississauga, and some flexibility to work remotely.

THE ROLE
Assist Community Engagement team in the execution of fundraising events (golf tournaments, and community walk) ranging from supporting logistics, prize solicitations, silent auction, sponsorship fulfilment , registration, event setup, event execution and wrap up- Support with tracking solicitations and deliverables in the donor database, Raiser’s Edge
- Provide exceptional customer service from start to finish during all elements of event coordination, by ensuring that public inquiries are responded to in a timely manner
- Research external events and make recommendations for improvements or innovation
- Assist with all administrative tasks and project management of events as required
- Other duties as assigned
CANADA SUMMER JOBS PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:
- Placement is full time only (35 hours per week) for a maximum of 12 weeks
- Placement must occur between April 25, 2023 and September 2, 2023
- Applicants are aged 15-30 years
