What does a typical project look like in your new team?

  • Design, implement and integrate embedded software for various systems;
  • Design low-level pilots for microcontrollers (data acquisition, communication, etc.);
  • Analyze firmware performance and develop test methods (unit, coverage branch, regression, integration) to ensure that the design meets customer requirements;
  • Identify and resolve software issues;
  • Create logical design documents (architectures, algorithm, databases, etc.);
  • Work closely with hardware engineers;
  • Analyze the technical feasibility and level of risk to meet customer requests;
  • Analyze the customer need to translate it into system specifications and requirements to be met;
  • Build and maintain the design file including calculations, tests, verifications, validations, costs and approvals;
  • Support internal or external customers in solving technical problems;
  • Develop test methods, plans and produce reports (hardware and software interface, acceptance plan, test plan, etc.).

Some aspects that will facilitate your integration at Creaform :

  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or software engineering ;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded software design;
  • You havea good knowledge of real-time software programming;
  • Knowledge ofdifferent families of microcontrollers;
  • Knowledgeof the development of procedural software as well as object-oriented languages such as: C, C++, C#, Python, Java, VBA, Tcl;
  • You arecomfortable working in several development environments (IDE) such as: MPLAB, STM32, IAR, Keil, Atmel studio;
  • You arecomfortable with the use of laboratory equipment such as: logic analyzer, oscilloscope, multimeter, function generator;
  • You areable to implement different communication protocols such as: CAN, I2C, SPI, UART, etc.;
  • Admissible to the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec. (Member an asset);
  • Passisted by design, embedded software engineering and technical challenges;
  • You work in the field of product development;
  • You are mobile to make short, medium or long trips;
  • Excellent communication skills in French.
