Our in-house marketing team is growing and we’re looking for a Social Media Marketing Coordinator to bring fresh skills and energy to our already incredibly capable, creative, and insightful crew of digital marketing aficionados.

The Opportunity
As the Social Media Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for growing, managing, and maintaining multiple social channels across several equipment dealership accounts, representing world-class manufacturer brands while building our online audiences and strategically amplifying meaningful interactions and engagement.
Job Responsibilities include:
· Develop a succinct social media content strategy to grow the quantity and quality of our audiences across all platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Google My Business, and YouTube
· Create high quality written, graphic, and video content adhering to brand standards to encourage engagement across all audiences, including employees and customers
· Collaborate with colleagues across departments as well as manufacturer representatives to identify emerging themes and develop campaigns that address audience interests
· Understand social trends and algorithms and apply them to your internal client portfolio
· Create, plan and execute internal contests to help drive social engagement
· Develop and deliver company-wide programs to empower our employees to contribute their own content to the company’s social media messaging mix
· Track, measure and analyze results and make recommendations based on findings
· Execution of weekly goals and reporting of KPI metrics
This position operates from the Langley, BC branch of Venturis Capital, located in the Port Kells industrial district, with the potential to work in a hybrid format remotely one to two days per week once initial training is completed.
The Ideal Candidate
You love to dig in and understand what works and what doesn’t and aren’t afraid to adjust plans accordingly. You are highly creative in coming up with out-of-the-box ideas to increase engagement on social platforms. You have a strong understanding of how social algorithms work
and how they adapt over time, and it would be considered a bonus if you are tech savvy with the ability to implement tracking strategies for ROI.
· Post-secondary diploma or degree, preferably in marketing or a related field
· 3-5 years of experience in a marketing social media role
· Outstanding computer skills with advanced knowledge of software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere), Canva and Microsoft Office applications
· Proven ability to create detailed social strategy across multiple brands (providing relevant examples with metrics)
· Experience posting to multiple business accounts via a social media management platform such as Hootsuite or Reputation
· Tech savvy with a natural curiosity to seek out and evaluate new emerging trends
· Resourceful nature and a willingness to tackle a variety of different tasks
· Excellent project management abilities with impeccable attention to detail
· Out of the box thinking / problem solving mindset
· Strong graphics and video abilities to produce visually appealing content
· Impeccable English writing, grammar, and punctuation skills
