Mount Norquay is hiring full-time Snow Makers with immediate starts available. If you want to work outside in Banff National Park with an amazing crew and great team, in a fun ski resort environment, this could be the employment you are looking for!

Your main responsibilities in this role include:

- Using various Snowmaking equipment to produce artificial snow on ski runs

- Setting up equipment in new locations, and packing up equipment for transport

- Becoming familiar with equipment operation, and the adjustments needed to produce quality snow

- Operation of ATV's and snowmobiles as transportation throughout the resort

- Working with snowcat operators to move equipment

- Monitoring Snowmaking systems

- Working safely and efficiently

Candidates with First Aid certifications are an asset. All training will be provided. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a varied role, loves working outside and is looking for an opportunity to develop their skillset. In addition, for the right candidate, there would be a full-time future position in our maintenance team.

Requirements:

· Willingness to work outside for extended periods of time in all weather conditions.

· Previous experience operating ATV’s and snowmobiles (preferred)(training provided)

· Ability to lift 50lbs and be on your feet during your shift

· Flexible schedule to cover a range of shifts

· Excellent team working skills

· Ability to work on steep slopes and at heights

· Technical mindset (preferred)(training provided)

· Alberta Driver’s license preferred but not required
