Site Superintendent (General Contractor) Job at Express Employment Professionals
A mid-size construction company in Niagara Falls is looking to add a Site Superintendent to their team.
Supervise ICI projects to help maintain a safe, organized, clean and happy site!
Professional Skills / Knowledge:
- Knowledge of construction technology, drawings, specifications and other technical documents
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment managing own workload
The Job:
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation and procedures
- Direct site personnel and coordinate trade contractors
- Assist PM with project cost control, audits and developing, monitoring, and updating overall project schedule
- Direct operations to achieve project schedule
- Maintain site records and daily job diary
- Organize regular trade meetings and safety meetings
- Represent the company during MOL site visits
Most suited for applicants with a minimum of 5 years of experience supervising construction in the ICI sector.
