Job description

As a member of our Shipping Team, you will play a direct role in picking our customer orders and loading them onto delivery trucks. On your next trip to the grocery store, you can see the eggs on the shelf and know you helped to do that!

Your responsibilities will include:

• Pick and assemble customer orders on pallets while safely ensuring a high degree of accuracy
• Organize stock / stock rotation
• Load orders onto trailers

We have the following shifts available:

Shift One:

• Sunday 10am-finish
• Monday to Thursday 3:30pm– finish

Shift Two:

• Monday to Friday 3:30pm-finish

Average 50-55 hours per week.

The successful candidates will possess the following competencies and experience:

• A minimum of 6 months’ related shipping and/or receiving experience such as picking customer orders within a warehousing environment
• Proficiency with ERP systems and the ability to use hand scanners to pick orders would be definite assets
• Ability and/or willingness to learn how to use pump carts, hand jacks and power walkies (this role does not require the use of forklifts)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high attention to detail
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
