About the Company

Audioptics Medical is a medical imaging device OEM developing a non-invasive diagnostic imaging technology for imaging the middle ear. Our mission is to provide ear surgeons with a better ability to diagnose conductive hearing loss and to anticipate what they are going to encounter in the operating room and, in doing so, dramatically reduce the number of exploratory surgeries they perform.

We are developing custom hardware, firmware, and software, to power our flagship product, the Ossiview Middle Ear Imaging System (www.audiopticsmedical.com). Audioptics runs a lean development team and seeks technical team members with diverse skillsets that can contribute on multiple fronts.

About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced and knowledgeable software developer who has a knack for improving software design and applying meaningful design patterns to an existing code base. You’re the kind of developer that has a reputation for producing readable, maintainable, and extendable C++ code with test coverage. You’ll contribute to an overall software effort aimed at enabling game-changing diagnostic capabilities with Ossiview, in a streamlined UI that is optimized for doctors to efficiently generate meaningful and intuitive results.

Must haves:

  • University degree in Computer Science
  • Strong C++ experience (at least 5 years experience in professional setting)
  • Object-Oriented design, SOLID principles and Design Patterns
  • Unit-testing & test-driven development methodologies
  • Git
  • Experience documenting software development
  • Strong communication skills (written and spoken)

Nice To Have:

  • Experience with image processing and common algorithms (FFT, filtering, equalization)
  • Experience with data visualization, plotting
  • Experience with Atlassian suite (Jira + Confluence)
  • Experience working in a Software Agile environment
  • Experience documenting software architecture
  • Qt
  • Knowledge of HIPPA/PHIA
  • Prior experience in healthcare technology
