SENIOR CONSULTANT / DIRECTOR, RISK MANAGEMENT

We are currently recruiting for a high performing risk management professional for a permanent full-time Senior Consultant or Director role.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
In collaboration with the Manager, you will complete risk management reports for clients and provide consulting and advisory services on a variety of property types including educational facilities, multi-family developments, industrial properties, etc. Through site inspections, research, and inquiry, you will assemble a series of facts and statistics, evaluate the data and from those findings develop a solid and defendable risk management report. You will also assist with training and mentoring others and may perform quality control reviews of reports. This is a home-based position based in either Alberta or Saskatchewan and requires 30-40% travel in Western Canada and occasional national travel.

You have the following credentials:
- Demonstrated proficiency in risk assessment assignments such as safety audits.
- Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) or Certified Rick Management (CRM) designation and member in good standing, or equivalent qualifications.
- Canadian Certified Playground Inspector (CCPI) designation an asset
- Full proficiency in reading, writing, and oral interactions in English. Proficiency in additional language(s) is an asset.
- Post-secondary degree, preferably in Engineering an asset.
- Comprehensive understanding of occupational health and safety federal and provincial regulations.
- A minimum of 5-10 years of related occupational health and safety and risk assessment experience.
- One to three years of project and client relationship management experience preferred.
- Experience coaching and mentoring others is an asset
