ACCOUNTANT

The successful candidate must have a “ hands on” attitude and possess the following technical skills and qualifications:

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EDUCATION:

• CA or CPA Designation or equivalent working experience
• Working knowledge of Sage 300, A/P, A/R, GL and Payroll
• Computer literate, MS Word, Excel & some knowledge of MRP Systems for Manufacturing Industry

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years experience
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional attitude and excellent work ethic
• Able to work in a team environment
• Strong external and internal customer service

ROLE:

• Perform all accounting process for the GL, such as creating , entering and posting batches in Sage 300
• Bank Reconciliations
• Preparation of Monthly and Year End financial Statement
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and year end Government reports, such as HST/GST returns , Payroll YE reporting
• Supervision of the A/P and A/R Staff
• Processing of by-weekly payroll
