Security Guard Town Patrol Job at GardaWorld
We are growing our ranks in Fort McMurray and have a great security opportunity for you! Garda Fort McMurray is currently seeking a Security Patrol Guard for our town projects. This position offers a rotational shift of seven night shifts on seven days off, shifts are twelve hours and all nights.

What does a Patrol Security Guard in Fort McMurray do?
- Vehicle and foot patrols of buildings including access control
- Extensive walking required, including multiple flights of stairs, in a 12-hour shift
- Function as a first responder in case of a crisis or emergency
- Providing friendly customer service and client relations
- Cross-training for multiple post
- Diligently follow safety protocols, instructions, policies, and procedures. Security personnel should always demonstrate a work safe attitude
- Excellent computer skills and report writing
Qualifications to become a Security Guard with Garda Fort McMurray Branch.
- A valid Alberta security guard license
- Standard first aid level-C with AED and CPR card
- CSO (common safety orientation)
- CSTS (construction safety training systems)
- Class 5 Drivers License (NON GDL)
- Clear Driver's Abstract
- Be eligible to work in Canada, and 18 years of age
- Pass drug and alcohol testing
